Deacon Victor Lembo has been with St. Michael Parish since September, 2000. A Valley native, he was first assigned to Holy Rosary Church, Ansonia, and served eight years until his transfer to Beacon Falls. Deacon Lembo's gifts of faith, liturgy, music, and love of the Church and its practices, have led him to study and research liturgical practices for over 25 years. Within the Parish of St. Michael, Deacon Victor is responsible for the training of all liturgical departments: Ministers of the Word, Altar and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. He is also a principle advisor to the Pastor for the Worship Space and Church Environment. He is responsible for the Baptismal preparation program as well as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and those adults preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Raised in Ansonia, he attended local schools. After high school, he attended Southern Connecticut State University and received a BA in Communications, followed by an MSIR (Masters in Industrial Relations) from the University of New Haven. He has worked for United Technologies Corporation at the Sikorsky facility for over 20 years, currently serving in Engineering Business Operations. Deacon Victor, his wife, Kathleen, and his daughters Alysse and Kaitlin reside in town on Hockanum Glen Drive. He is a member of the St. Michael Men's Club, St. Michael Building and Renovation Committee, and the Region 16 High School Building Commission.
