Weekend Masses (Sunday obligation) resumed on the weekend of July 4th and 5th!! Our new weekend Mass times (subject to change) will be; Saturday Vigil Mass, 5 pm, Sunday Mass, 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Please note the following:
~Reservations will need to be made for weekend Masses . Please call Mary, at 601-467-0683, during the hours of 2 pm to 6 pm on Thursdays and 10 am to 1 pm on Fridays to make a reservation. If Mary is unable to answer, please leave a message with your name, phone #, and # of people attending & she will call you with a verbal confirmation. Please make your reservation by 1 pm on the Friday of the weekend you wish to attend. Please let her know if you need to cancel.
~At this time, we are limited to a maximum of 65 people per Mass, which is 25% of our capacity.
~Ushers will be at the entrances of the church to check you in for weekend Masses. If your name is not on the list, you will be asked to wait to enter until we make sure that we haven’t hit our maximum allowed capacity.
~Everyone over the age of 5 is asked to wear a mask. If you need a mask, please see an Usher.
~Hand sanitizer and paper towels will be available at the entrance of the church.
~Seating will start in the 3rd pew from the sanctuary. Families from the same household may sit together. A maximum of 2 people that are not in the same family may sit in each pew section. The pew sections are marked off with blue tape.
~A single file line will be formed for Communion. Please follow the directional arrows in the church and leave 6 feet between yourself and the person in front of you when walking up to receive Communion.
~The church will be sanitized prior to, and following, each Mass.
~If you have any questions about these directives, please call the church office at 203-729-2504.
~The Archbishop has extended the dispensation through November 28th for anyone that has any reservations about attending Mass, regardless of age or health.
If you are unable to attend in person, please continue to join us via Facebook or YouTube for the Sunday liturgy.
Weekday Masses will be celebrated at 8 am Monday through Saturday.
Grade 8 & 9 Confirmation Classes, please mail your homework assignments to the rectory, or drop them off to the mailbox at the front door of the rectory.
Small Christian Community has resumed meeting (with social distancing) on Wednesdays at 10 am in the rectory. All are welcome. Please bring a mask and your own drink (if you would like one).
St. Michael Ladies’ Guild and Men’s Club Meetings have been cancelled until further notice.
Confessions are being held at the original time of 3:30 to 4:00 pm.
The church will be open for private prayer and devotion from 8:00 am-1:30 pm daily Monday through Friday, Saturday from 7:30 am-6:00 pm & Sunday from 7:30 am to 11:00.
